Casablanca is a city where being lost unlike other destinations of Morocco is not a good idea. It is a city like many europeans cities, withe long avenues, and a car is necessary if you want to visit many museums (Museum of Judaism for example) and historical monuments. Do not miss the Hassan II Mosque, which stands opposite the Atlantic, northwest of Medina, one of the most beautiful in the world. Walk on the Corniche and in the neighborhood of Habous, the new medina. You'll find bazaars, artisans, bakeries and cafes. In the north, you will also see the Royal Palace, which unfortunately is closed to the public.
